A global leading software- and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail and hospitality industries is looking for HR Specialist
 * Position is responsible for ensuring the company’s employee lifecycle management programs are adhered to and executed properly, which begins with the on-boarding of employees through performance management and ultimately the exiting of employees; Position is responsible for working with managers to ensure compliance to the company’s policy and identifying any manager training needs

* Position manages any exceptions or deviations of the background screening process and addresses them with the manager; Partners with managers and employees to drive the development and execution of employee performance improvement plans

* Ensures managers and employees understand and adhere to the company’s dispute resolution process; Manages employee relations issues such as harassment, discrimination, or conflict in a manner that mitigates company risk and leads to successful resolution; Partners with local legal counsel, security and local work councils (where appropriate)

* Mediates disputes among employees in order to bring these to expedient resolution

* Manages the execution of the reduction in force process including severance calculations, employee notifications, initiation of RIF benefits, etc

* Responsible for the management of vendors outplacement, background screening

* Responsible for communication of compensation, benefits & performance management philosophy and programs

* Provide internal benchmarking to help managers better make decisions of local salary issues that align with organization and company strategies

* Ensures that NCR local practices and processes conform to all local and national regulations; Ensures that NCR's field practices are compliant with local laws and customs

* Provide day-to-day coaching and counseling to managers and employees regarding skills development, career development, and learning; Apply best practices and leads employee teams in development and/or execution of recognition program

* Conducts first-level data collection, checking and analysis; Uses NCR tools to convert raw data into report formats; Manages HRIS transaction processing activities and results; Insures transactional support is conducted in a timely and accurate manner; Audits necessary approvals and process flows

* Maintain an ongoing communication plan with managers and employees, which facilitates goal clarity and motivates employees; Maintain recognition systems, which appropriately incent and recognize outstanding performance

* Develops information capture and knowledge management tools to support day-to-day operations; Conduct internet research for Staffing Function; Provide basic staffing consultation


Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldCustomer Satisfaction oriented

Strong Work Ethics

Focus on continuous improvement and business efficiencies

Must possess functional HR and organizational knowledge; Strong vendor management skills; Good listening, negotiating & conflict resolution skills
